Accommodation
The greatest value of the Krimulda manor is its wonderful and unique atmosphere – the sum of its historic majesty, beautiful nature and modern comfort. The area, settled for hundreds and even thousands of years, was given a new beginning by the von Lieven family, who acquired the manor in 1817 and were the last owners of the manor. It was during their time that the newest building of the manor was built and a romantic park created on the banks of river Gauja. The manor has been outstandingly incorporated in the scenery – while the closeness of the Gauja valley cannot be felt form the drive way, but the view from the many terraces, balconies and verandas on the river, the valley, as well as the Sigulda and Turaida castles is breath-taking.
Depending on the length and purpose of the stay (weddings, romantic relaxation, tourist base point, retreat, rehabilitation, etc.) you can choose the moist suitable rooms in the beautifully restored manor complex – from luxurious, well equipped rooms, to simpler, more ascetic ones or camping-type family apartments in the historic “row cottages” in the manor’s yard. During the summer season the maximum number of guests (in room of various level of comfort and price) is 127, while during the cold season 87 guests can be accommodated. Three fully equipped rooms are available in the large manor building, as well as 18 partially equipped rooms with common use bathrooms. The row cottages outside can accommodate 40 guests.
Free WiFi is available in the manor, as well as comfortable common areas, catering and possibilities for various leisure activities – tours, wine tastings, SPA procedures, etc.
It is possible to book not only rooms but also common areas for corporate events, retreats, weddings, tastings etc., as well as various additional services that will make your event flawless, rich and sophisticated.
